Signal Cycles
Signal Cycles is a two man shop run by Nate Meschke and Matt Cardinal. All bikes are made out of steel and brazed up in our North Portland workshop. Each bike is unique and we love considering the bike as a whole. 2011 was a strong year for us here at Signal Cycles. Our city bike was given the best city bike award at last years show, we moved our shop into a bigger space, started offering a production bike, and got to work with world class design firm Ziba on a bike for the Oregon Manifest. 2012 will be our 5th consecutive NAHBS and we are happy to be able to drive to the show this year. NAHBS time every year creates a buzz in the bike world and that is why we love being involved. The show is the center of the bike industry for the weekend and it is a great place to be inspired and to meet the best builders around. We are looking forward to spending time with our Nor-Cal friends and builders and hopefully we will actually get out for a ride this year!
Signal Cycles lugged road bike:

This bike was made for a customer that wanted a pretty straight forward steel road bike. We used oversized Columbus tubing plugged into Richard Sachs lugs with some modifications. The Component package is the tried and true Shimano Ultegra kit upgraded with a full compliment of Chris King componentry. We made a custom nickel plated stem to the customers dimensions to keep everything nice and clean.

Signal Cycles 29er Explorer Bike:

This bike was built to be comfortable on all day adventures in the hills around the bay area. We used the new 2×10 Shimano XT components and a rigid unicrown fork. Paint by Spectrum.
