Riding Discipline – City
This a Bauhinia, a sequel to the award winning Sunflower back in 2010. It was originally built for the Oregon Design Challenge and has gone through their rigorous ride test, hence signs of use shows. The enhancement on this sequel includes a steering lock, which help stabilize the bike when parked and loading. There is also an integrated anti-theft lock system and chainguard. The famous floral motif front rack is retained, together with integrated fenders, lighting system and hidden cables. The bike is designed for everyday commuting, with the front rack for larger objects augmented by the rear pannier rack. The low step through design allows easy straddling while the bike is loaded.
