Riding Discipline – City
Ginny 2.0. Earlier this year I built a commuter bike for a customer. One of his friends liked it so much that he wanted one too. The bike I jokingly call “Ginny” because it is a dynamo generator front hub is a roll up of several ideas I have used on other bikes. Lugged steel construction of frame, fork and stem. Belt drive with sliding dropouts. Disc brake. Internal gear rear hub. Dynamo front hub. All internal wiring for head and tail light. Internal cable routing for front and rear brakes. Internal cable routing for rear derailleur. Rack and fender combo that can be attached and unattached in less than a minute. Very reliable. Very dependable. It should last a lifetime of commuting and city riding.
