This is the Aero Road Concept. The goal was to have the cleanest integration possible of a Di2 group, along with aerodynamic features and custom geometry. My material of choice is steel, fillet brazed for smooth transistions. The frame features a custom butted, ovalised and cut-out seattube, a custom formed ovalised headtube for a Chris King Inset headset and a PF30 BB shell. The Di2 battery is inside the seattube, with a micro-usb charging port integrated into the seatmast cap. The rear brake is tucked under the chainstays, with internal routing. I worked with Ruckus in Portland to modify a carbon one-piece bar/stem to include a location for the Di2 control box. Keith Anderson then finished things off with beautiful paintwork. An aero bike deserves an aero wheelset, and so we have Enve 6.7 rims laced onto a custom English aero hubset.
